Macerao is a unique and expressive wine line, born from traditional bush-vine vineyards of Moscatel de Alexandria in Itata Valley and Semillón from Colchagua Valley, which were planted over 60 and 30 years ago respectively, and are dry-farmed. These wines have been crafted using artisanal winemaking methods, such as hand-harvested grapes, fermented with wild yeasts and a maceration on their skins to develop complex aromas and structure, resulting in a style commonly called “orange wine”.
International recognition highlights the innovative spirit of Macerao. Its distinctive orange wines have earned praise for their character, complexity, and expressive sense of origin.
