RECENT
ACCOLADES
CIEN has received select recognition that highlights its authenticity and sense of place. These distinctions reflect the character of century-old Carignan vines from Cauquenes and a wine shaped by traditional viticulture and origin.
TERROIR
Situated in the Maule region, this vineyard is located in the Cauquenes region, 35 km in a straight line from the sea between the Coastal mountain range and the Cauquenes river. It corresponds to a traditional plantation, planted on ungrafted, head-trained, rainfed soils and where all the work is done by hand or with horses.. This method makes it possible to produce grapes with thick skin, balanced acidity, concentration of flavors and a unique expression of terroir.
