Nicolas Bizzarri leads the LFE winemaking team.  He is Chile’s first graduate in Oenology from Roseworthy in Australia, one of the world’s leading winemaking universities.  He spent time as winemaker at the iconic Robert Mondavi winery in California’s Napa Valley, and then worked at Errazuriz in Chile before joining the LFE team in 2002.

Chief Winemaker Christian Rojas graduated from the Universidad Católica in Santiago with top honors in Winemaking and Agronomic Engineering.  He then gained valuable experience at the world famous Chateau L'Evangile in Pomerol, Bordeaux, where he was Assistant Winemaker for a number of years, before moving to Echeverria in Chile as Chief Winemaker.

Always on the lookout for new ideas and ways to continually improve quality, LFE’s winemaking team seeks advice from some of the world’s leading consultants.  Since 2006 Alberto Antonini, a highly respected Tuscan winemaker with a string of accolades to his name, has been closely involved in strengthening the estate’s top wines and has helped define the style of the new LFE900 and Marea de Leyda ranges that will be launched in 2010.
