WINEMAKING TEAM
Luis Felipe Edwards (LFE) has a new team running its winemaking operation.
The LFE team is headed by Nicolas Bizzarri. Nicolas obtained a graduate degree in Oenology at Roseworthy Adelaide University, Australia. He spent time as a Winemaker at Robert Mondavi's winery in Oakville Napa Valley, California, and Errazuriz in Chile.
Chief Winemaker Christian Rojas studied Agronomical Engineering and Winemaking at the 'Universidad Católica’ in Santiago in the mid-nineties, graduating with top honours. Christian gained several valuable years experience working as Assistant Winemaker in the red wine winemaking team at Chateau L'Evangile, Pomerol, Bordeaux. He has also worked as Chief Winemaker at Echeverria Winery in Chile.
Assistant winemaker Sofia Araya moved to LFE from a similar assistant role at Casa Lapostolle.
Tomas Vial, assistant winemaker, and renowned viticulturist consultant from Chile has worked in the Franciscan Estate winery in the U.S.A., Bodegas Borsao in Spain before joining LFE.
