This vineyard could be mistaken as our hottest vineyard, perhaps as it is nestled away in a natural cul de sac it could benefit from extra warmth,

however the name comes from an old traditional clay oven that sits in the middle of the vineyard - used for making empanadas a traditional South American snack.

The vineyard is home to 7 hectares of Carmenere.
