Luis Felipe Edwards owns vineyards in the Colchagua and Leyda Valleys.
Some of our vines have been thriving for over 70 years. We spray very little in the vineyards – Chile’s naturally beneficial climate reduces the need for pesticides – and we use drip irrigation. We deliberately restrict yields in order to produce fewer grapes per vine, smaller in size with more intense, concentrated juice which therefore make better quality wines.
Vineyard holdings in diverse valleys at different latitudes, each of which benefit from unique soil and climate combinations, provide grapes which complement each other perfectly in our wines. That way we can maintain the style and complexity of our blends with great consistency from year to year.
